COS (Collection of Style) launched in 2007 with a flagship store on London’s Regent Street, offering near ready-to-wear style and quality at an affordable price point. Soon emerging as the credible antidote to the “fast fashion” culture of the high street, COS has bucked the recession trend for retail decline and continues to expand to include standalone stores and concessions worldwide.
Eschewing traditional advertising, COS cleverly uses its packaging, retail spaces, lifestyle ideals and collaborations as promotional tools. Stores are usually found on renowned shopping streets, in historic buildings whose individual features are treated sympathetically, inside and out. The brand is well known for its participation in art world events and its commitment to design, beginning with its sponsorship of the Frame initiative as part of the annual Frieze Art Fair in London, giving a platform to young, emerging artists. It collaborates with designers to commission installations for the Salone del Mobile in Milan and also supports the Serpentine Pavilion’s Park Nights Series in the summer months in London. COS collaborates with the editorial team behind Fantastic Man and The Gentlewoman on its biannual Magazine, allowing COS to talk directly to its customers and give them insight into the brand’s likes and inspirations.
We have worked closely with COS since 2007 and were instrumental in guiding the store as it launched its flagship Irish store in 2014. With our extensive contacts and local knowledge, we provide research, market analysis and media relations support for COS in the Irish market as well as managing the COS press showroom in Dublin. We continue to drive awareness of the brand through targeted media coverage, press events and strategic brand alignments.
